VFW Post 8924 and Auxiliary Post 8924 proudly participate in the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Festival Parade.
This year's theme honored "Remembering the Black Cowboys of Texas and Saluting the Buffalo Soldiers". The Auxiliary created and handed out Buffalo Soldier fact cards to the community and spectators to highlight this important part of American and Black History.
The legacy of the Buffalo Soldier deserves to be remembered, shared, and celebrated.
